i took my first breathat 3:43 p.m Sunday February 23rd 1997 to Leonard and Lesli Saunders. They chose to name me Shawba Brooke Saunders. -
crawling!
i started crawling around at months of age September 1997. My dad had to keep me on a liesh because i had a tedency to "crawl" off on him. -
My 1st birthday
i celebrated my first birthday on february 23 1998. My moms best friend made my cake and smashed it all over my face. -
First Words!
When i was 19 months old i suprised everyine by saying uh-oh segety o's. So i guess i didnt have a first word.. i had a first phrase. -
Year 1
took my first steps when i was 14 months old April 27, 1998 -
year 2
I had my first dentist appontment. i was 2 years and 2 months old It was very scary. I did okay though i didnt have any cavities. -
pumpkin patch!
i got to go to my first pumpkin patch i picked out a very tiny one that fit in my hands perfectly! -
my first puppy(:
My mom and dad brought me my first puppy. She was my earky christmas present and birthday present. We named her Sophie Unu FooFoo Butt. She was a cocker spaniel black and white and her eye brows were tan! -
molly doll
christmas day santa was very good to me. i was 2years 10 months and he brought me my "molly" doll and she played on the "big comphy couch" -
Pre-School
i started my first year of pre-school. I loved it and i love my teachers Mrs.Ladeux and Mrs.Reining. i made a lot of new friends. -
bad haircuts!
I got my first haircut by my uncle brad.
My mom and dad were not happy when they came to pick me . He literallly put a bowl on my head and cut around it! I indeed looked like a boy! -
Christmas concerts
I sang in my 1st christmas concert at my pre-school, I wore a very pretty red velvet dress. -
animals at the zoo!
I turned the big 5! All my aunts and uncles and cousins went to the zoonto help me celiberate! We had so much fun! -
bikes and trees
My first bike! My mom and dad bought me my first bike ever! my coucin jacob tought me how to ride it with out training wheels because i had never had any. He told me that if i kept straigh ahead and go slow i should be able to stop. So he gave me a oush and off i go! so excited that i finally did it.
Then as i start coming back from the excitiment i noticed theres a tree.. Then I hit it! -
pre-school times 2
I started my 2nd year of pre-school. Lets just say it wasnt as good as my first year -
graduting for the 1st time...
I graduated pre-school there was a cerimony and i reciever a certificate and we had cookies and punch after. -
moving to a hicktown i call home
I moved from Freeport IL to Lanark IL.We went from a super dinky house to a geat big house! -
falling behind
I started haveing tummy issues. Well I have always had them but they are getting worse now and im falling behind in school.. -
kindergarten agian
My paarents and Mrs.Tiggis thought I would do better if i stayed another year. I didnt like the idead of that.. And to be honest, I still dont. -
teeth and faries
I lpost my forst tooth and the tooth fairy gave me 1 dollar!! I was so excited to get a dollar. -
being a sister.
I found out i was going to be a big sister.. Hope its a girl. "rather be an only child!" thought i would throw that out there. -
family of 3 no longer
My parents and I got to go to chicago for the weekend as a family of 3. We went to the Lincoln zoo and sheds aquarium. -
its not a girl..
Well wishes dont come true. I got a baby brother not a baby sister.. On the plus side of everything i got toname him. my mom and dad couldnt find a name they likes so i told them about a story i learned in bibble school of Christian the fisherman, They loved it. So I named him Christian Paul Saunders. -
issues once agian
My stomach problems jept getting worse. So my doctor us to a gastroenteralogist and i had my fisrt upper and lower G.I.. two words Not. FUN -
age 8
My doctor put me on 2 medications. He said i have colitis. That caused me to have a bleeding ulcer. And im off to 1st grade finally! -
sea food
i tried lobster! and i ate it all! i loved it -
tinkerbell
My aunt Kristy gave me a tinkerbell tree for my room! it was purple and sparkly! -
everythin hapens fpr a reason? I think not
My mom got a phone call the one morning after getting my brother dressed and it was my aunt Lori. She told my mom that she might wana sit down for what shes about to tell her. my mom replys woth a "no. just tell me. is it dad?" "no" says my aunt lori its jacob and jeremy.. They were in an ATV accis=denet on earlcity blacktop. Jermemy died instantly and jacob died enrout to the hospital.. Jacob was 13 and jeremy was 15. They didnt get to live to there full potential. they have been gone for 6 yrs -
cancer
My dog sophi was diagnosed with mammary gland cancer. she lived for a while after that. she was also very happy! -
death goes in threes
My uncle Ken passd away fro E.coli followed by my anut Iva, Kens wife. they say from a broken heart. -
one year.. many to go
One year has gone bye since Jacob and Jermey die. We rease balloons now every year at their grave in memory. Longest year of my life. -
3rd grade!
I started3rd grade! Mrs.Majors was my teacher.. Did not like her at all! -
cell phone!
My dad got me my first cell phone so i could always get a hold of them because it wsa important that i could contact them at all times with y stomach problems. -
age 11
My family stated camping! Its so much fun and its a good way to be close with the family. late nights drunk people and being more adult then the adults! HAHA(: -
my pappy and more health issues.
My Pappy had to have a tripple by-pass. Then his incision got infected, so they had to open him back up and left it open for 8 months to drain and heal on its own. Lets just say it looked better when you didnt look at it! -
more animals!
We got another puppy we named her Anna Nikole. Sophi doesnt care for her to much though. -
health takes over my life once agian.
I started getting sick with sore throat about 7 or 8 times with a high fever but it was never strep. Weird! -
This time.. it literally took over my body.
Sick once agian! This time I was so sick that I couldnt wake up. I slept for 2 weeks my mom and dad had to help me do everything as far as heping me eat go to the bathroom and feeding me. Dr. ran blood work and TADA! I have MONO! One more thing to add to the list of Diagnosis. -
being a teen is awkward1
its official im a teenager! whoot whoot 13 years old! my mom cried. -
promises meant nothing to me, age 13
Well after years of unsuccessful meds, food trials, doctor appoinments, gluten free lacto free living i am sent to a specialist in gastroenterology. Dr.Burress. He went over all of my history, My first thought was that he wont be able to help me, hes just another doctor. But he made me a promise. A promise to find out what was going on with me as long as i trust him. -
not what i need!
Colitic Crohns! Not what i want but we can finaly put a name to it.so maybe there will be hope.. -
29 + 7..?
We took mom to Chicago for her birthday. It was her 7th anniverssary of her 29th birthday. We also went to an apple orchard and ate some yummy cider donuts! gosh them were great! -
death once agian
Sophi unu foofoo buttt died. Cancer had moved into her lungs she fought a ood fight. We buried her in our flower garden mom and i planted. Tulips and we made a stepping stone with her name on it. Mom still cries over the loss of our sophi. -
Six Flags!
We went to six flags with mom aunt lori my cousin taia and my grandma! We had such a blast! -

I started drivers ed in dixon IL! -
NEW DRIVER ON THE ROAD!
Permit day ! mom drove us to chadwick to take my test(: I drove us home! -
sniors new teacher ohh my!
I am officially registered as a freshman at eastland high school. I am so excited and so nervous! and so far loving it a lot! all my teachers are awesome!
