In a garage in the suburbs of Chicago, a radio DJ mentions Selling ones Sould of Rock N Roll - mentions the new Ozzy Osbourne record was about to be released, Shane decided to sell his soul in hopes of obtaining that recording - and he did. Listening religiously, Shane started to read up on Mr. Crowley and occult practices.

Shane was arrested for residential burglary and jailed in DuPage county jail at the same time the Chicago Rippers were there - on of the Chicago Rippers would have court before Shane, they were handcuffed together in a transport truck from the jail to the court house, the serial killer struck up a conversation with Shane about Satanism - this sparked an interest that grew from the Ozzy moment.

Shane starts publishing zines and producing events while living in a car. Mainly publishing the zine Naked Aggression. Publishing and producing some of the hardest of the hardcore works. Some had even been deemed obscene by the courts. He was considered a first amendment hero throughout the underground. He was of the first to publish a sexually explicit comic by a female cartoonist and was one of few underground publishers publishing POC cartoonists.

Shane's first zine - the first issue has the title: CENSOR THIS ASSHOLE - the base of Shane's interest was free speech. Pushing free speech limits became a staple in his early career.

Shane helped - eventually published their program book. This is where the white power record label found Shane in a successful effort to buy advertising and spread their ideology. It is this moment Shane meets the nazi who sends him Might is Right.

Scheduled to testify in the Mike Diana Obscenity Trial, Shane flew to Florida days early to make plans with Mike in case he was jail'd - Shane wasn't allowed to testify because his pen name "Mike Hunt" was found to be offensive by the judge. Mike was convicted, Shane in the back of the court room left immediately with all of mikes art, not deemed illegal in florida.

The Night Stalker Richard Ramirez was a pen-pal of Shane’s. He sent Anton LaVey’s phone number to Shane after some lengthy conversations on the ideas behind Satanism.

Shane found Might Is Right to be very similar to the Satanic Bible - He decided to investigate and wrote Anton LaVey a letter asking him to write the foreword to explain his use of segments of Might Is Right. Anton LaVey agreed.

Shane's was known as an iconoclast in Chicago, his rep in the dark arts grew, two people he was working with gave him Might Is Right at the same exact time, one a Satanist and one a member of a White Power rock band who fi=ond Shane through the Milwaukee Metal Fest.

Shane published Might Is Right with Anton LaVey’s introduction and an afterword from the White Supremacist who first gave him the book. Juxtaposing the two very different philosophy’s in Might Is Right was a collision of ideas that caused an explosion still heard today.

Anton LaVey invites Shane out to San Francisco to visit the infamous Black House. Shane meets Anton, they enjoy double-stuffed Oreo cookies and instant coffee while LaVey tells stories and plays his organ.

Shane brought Doug Messner/Misiko of tst fame on at least one leg of the tour where they would Co-lecture in Salem, Mass. This was another instance of Shane & Doug using claims of Secret Service interference for the delayed start of a show in Kentucky. -
After being run out of Hammond, In. and on the way to NY, detoured by an illness in the family, Shane decided to move to a small town in Minnesota to care for the sick family member... creating a soda-pop to help cover costs. Eventually, run out of the small Minnesota town a couple of years later.

The aesthetic terrorism art movement now had a book dedicated to them - Art That Kills. Shane was featured and given his own chapter in the book. The book was full of the Satanisms greatest artists.

June 6th 2006 was a big deal for Satanists. We all converged in L.A. to celebrate and throw our own parties, the COS had their event, Stanton LaVey had his event and Shane put on his, marketing it as the countdown to June 6th 2006 - the event was so successful a DVD was produced of the event.

Ely, Mn welcomed Shane and his entrepreneurial spirit, and then the internet became a thing and his association with Serial Killers and Satanists was revealed and actually brought into discussion with various religious leaders, resulting in being shunned and run out of town in the middle of the night. He took an opportunity to make an adult film in L.A. in an attempt to survive having his soda-pop business taken from him.

After being run out of Ely, Mn. Shane took on the only offer available and produced, filmed, and directed an adult film and what's been considered the first Satanic adult film ever produced. Film featured a Black Mass written and overseen by Shane.

A roadtrip to test a philosophy while taking advantage of web 2.0 and the freedom to publish video and audio without any gatekeepers. The road trip lasted for two years; editing the book and film took another 3 years of full-time work and research. 600pg book full length film and over 200 short films were created for this project. This multi-year effort was an attempt at telling the story of the poor in America, why they don’t vote, and how America is seen without media filers.

This show captures Shane as he works on editing a book and film regarding the three years spent on the road testing his Satanic philosophy, listening to opposing ideas, and digesting the truths gained by taking a philosophy he felt strongly about on the road and into the homes of those who would oppose him.

Although Shane and Doug had discussed this idea for decades, it wasn't until Doug found a rich guy who could finance actions that their idea started to take hold. It originally started as a Mockumentary regarding separation of church and state, as well as lampooning those who would join a Satanic cult.

Nov 2016 after an authoritarian took control of the USA, Shane was besieged by Might Is Right fans thanking him for publishing the book. Taken back as to their interpretation of the book, he immediately took the book off sale. Up until that point he sold collectors copies and hadn't widely distributed the book in years.
