I remember listening to read-aloud stories on walkmans. -
I remember my teachers using the projectors to show us work. I remember them having to erase the wet markers. I remember the papers that had print on them getting out of order and the teachers trying to get them back in a rush. I remember teachers using them in elementary school all the way through high school. -
I remember going to computers class and working on these old Apple computers with colored backs. I mostly remember playing Oregon Trail but I know I did other things on them too. -
I remember getting excited every time the teacher would roll in the t.v. Especially if it was a substitute. -
I remember when the school switched from the Apple computers with the big back to flatter screens. -
I remember once I got into college, I really started seeing the overhead projectors with the PowerPoint. -
Once I got to college, I had and I started seeing more students with their own laptops. It made schoolwork easier than trying to find an empty computer in one of the labs. -
I now have a smartboard in my classroom. It is nice to be able to do different things on it and to be able to control my screen from the front of the classroom. -
Now, all my student have their own classroom Chromebook. This allows them to do their independent work and to participate in the classroom lessons. -
We now have so many different platforms that allow students to be connected to their school, teachers, and their work and they don't have to be at school.
