I grew up watching movies on VHS tape. When we wanted save a show on TV, we would tape it on a VHS tape.

The first full-length 3D movie I saw was Avatar. I had seen short 3D movies before at amusement parks like Disneyland, but 3D movies didn't start becoming more mainstream until around the release of Avatar.

My first smartphone was a Huawei. I discovered how addictive it can be to have a pocket-size computer. I really enjoyed the installed digital camera and wi-fi capabilities.

Today I tried using Nearpod in my class when reviewing the parts of speech. Since it is a more boring subject, I was hoping it would help my students be more engaged. I think it was effective.
