War breaks out between the Red and White armies. The Red army was fueled by socialists, while the White army was made mainly of diversities hoping for a more free government. This civil war made way for a new form of government supported by the people.

The New Economic Policy (N.E.P), a policy created by Lenin, was a plan for a more capitolistic economy. One of the policies included a more free trade and agriculture marked. Although it would have been more economically stable, Stalin and Trotsky disagreed that it should be used.

Siding with the Bolshevik revolutionaries, Joseph Stalin became a general secretary of the party. After Lenins death, Stalin was able to be elected as dictator. During his reign he re-instituted communism.
