Germany's leaders wanted Russia to be a constitutional Monarchy. He didn't want to share the power right away. Since he didn't want to right away, the Czar got rid of it after two weeks.

Nicholas II took Russia into World War I. Russia was no where near ready but they entered the wat anyway. Germans killed Russia (over 4 millions) in easy war.

Women textile workers went on strike in Petagrad. (200,000) Many women were shot but after awhile the soiders agreed with them. Ran out of bread and fuel because of the strike.

Armed factory workers stormed the winter palace. They called themselves Bolshevik redguards. They took over the goverment offices, and arrested goverment leaders.

People were fighting for there opinion on Czar. Some people wanted him as leader and some people hated him. The people that didn't like him wanted a Democratic goverment.

Lenin had a stroke and survived. He no longer could be the leader. The new leader was Joseph Stallin. he was known as the man of steel.
