    After he abdicated the Russian throne, he was imprisoned in the Alexander Palace. Nicholas II did not like his job and he and his family, were later executed so he couldn't be picked again to be at his job as Czar.

    People began rioting in St. Petersburg, Russia because of food shortages. Nicholas did not have much support, so he abdicated his throne. Duma later set up a provisional government and the Soviet Union was then created in 1922.
