Neil Ellwood Pearteart is the oldest member in Rush at age 63. He was born in 1952 September 12. He was born in Hamilton Ontario and grew up in Port Dalhousie. Neil Peart is a Canadian American musican and author. Neil Peart is the youngest person to make it into Modern Drummer hall of fame in 1983. Neil Peart joined rush in the summer of 1974 -

Alex Lifeson is a canadian artist and gutiarist for the canadian rock band Rush. He is 62 years of age and was born Augest 27 1953. In 1968 Lifeson co-found the band with John Rutsey(who at the time was the drummer)and Jeff Jones(who was current singer and bassist. -
The Beginning
Rush is a canadian rock band that was formed in 1968 in Willowdale Toronto.They became big in 1975, so they have been together for 40 years state there tour name R40.Rush consists of lead singer Geddy Lee who also plays bass guitar and keybord, precussion Neil Peart and Alex Lifeson who plays guitar.John Rutsy used to be in the band. He played the percussion from 1968-1974.Jeff Jones who played lead bass in 1968.Thoes two are no longer apart of the band.Rush plays progressive rock. -

Rush is none for progressive rock, rock that gets louder or stronger over a time period. Their lyrics are a mix of sic-fi and fantsy. Rush - Xanadu is a graet example of progressive rock. -

Rushs most reacent tour was in June 2015. I went to that tour with my dad.
