    Enforced by the Red Guards, mostly young student revolutionists, was a goal to establish a society of peasents and workers in which all were equal. The Red Guards were influenced by Mao, and killed any resistors. Mao eventually shut it down when it got out of hand.

    The fall of Saigon was the victory of the Vietnam war for the Vietcong and North Vietnamese. It was the final battle of the war, and all Americans had withdrawn or been killed.

    Communist rebels in Cambodia that set up a brutal Communist government under the leader Pol Pot. They slaughtered 2 million people in Cambodia. Eventually UN Peacekeepers installed a democratic constitution in Cambodia.
