    In 1906 Lee de Forest created (borrowed) this vaccum tube amplified signals. Regenald Fesseden came up with idea but for some reason he never made it to history books. Amplifier takes one signal and sends it to another

    8XK was the name of the station but was later changed to KDKA
    The first first radio station (KDKA) was invented by Frank Concord
    KDKA has been running for 93 years and still airs today out of Pittsburg, Pennslyvania

    AM Waves (amplitude modulation waves came out in 1932. They are measured by kilaherts and megaherts. The average reading for AM Waves should be 535KHz- 1605KHz

    FM Waves ( Frequency Modulation) changes the frequency of waves. Meaning that the sound waves move from up to down. A good reading for FM Waves should be 88-108MHz
