  • 13 Original Colonies

    Although the date is incorrect the year of 1607 is when Virginia became the first colony. It was founded under a patent for the London Company.
  • French and Indian War

    The French and Indian War gained it's name from the British because the British were fighting against and with Indians as well as against the French. In this war Britain gained control of all 13 colonies and the Canada Territory.
