Quarter one: Timeline

  • Aug 3, 1492

    Christopher Columbus discovered America

    Christopher Columbus finally discovered America. He has been searching for America for such a long time.
  • Industrial Rovolution boomed

    The Industrial Revolution has finally boomed. This is just the start of a new was of transportaiton and a better way to use our fuel.
  • French/Indian War

    The was went on until 1763, when if finally ended. This was was a horrible war that killed many people. It was such a long war that made people leave their families.
  • Revolutionary War

    This war was a huge turning point for us. This is where the "Shot heard around the world" came such a popular phrase.
  • 13 Colonies

    It wouldn't let me just put in a year, but this is the fourth on the time line liest. It was such a huge discovery for people to finally found the 13 colonies.
  • Writing of the Constitution

    This is one of the largers events in American History. It means so much to us. So many important people were involved in the writing of the constitution. This protects us from so many important things today.
  • Boston Tea party

    The Boston Tea Party was a big part in history. This was a way that the people sort of told the king that he needs to stop giving the people taxes to pay, that are pointless.
  • Lewis and Clark leave for their expedition

    Lewis and Clark's journy went from May 14-July 31, 1804. They had so many amazing discoveries on their journey. They also met some pretty important people, like Sacagawea, who helped them throughout their journey.
  • Missouri Compromise

    They gave Missouri the right to a slave state. This was what seems like a bad thing to us, since slavery is a bad thing. But to them, it was such a blessing that they got to own slaves.
  • Bleeding Kansas

    Kansas was so close to Missouri, which was now a slave state. That the area between them became a battle field.
