Jimi Hendrix's unorthodox Woodstock performance of America's National Anthem, "The Star-Spangled Banner", caused controversy, as it was thought to be using elements of the Veietnam war, people got up and left during his performance. This performance was also not up to Hendrix's usual energetic standard.
