    Alien and Sedition acts
    John Adams created laws called alien and sedidation acts. They deported foreigners and made it harder for immigrants to vote. People didn't like them because they limited the things that immigrant foreigners could do. Adams created Alien and Sedidation acts to strengthen the security of the nation.     Tripoli wanted the U.S to pay for protection of ships. The U.S refused so Tripoli declared a naval war for 4 years. The U.S invaded and the peace treaty was signed in 1805. This affected the U.S because we got a bigger navy

    Andrew Jackson sent the order to send the Natives out of the land that they were living in. He made them move into Oklahoma which is called the trail of tears. 4,000 Cherokees died which outraged some of the people.
