I think during this period of time I knew only one way of learning: memory. All teachings were through books and what teacher wrote on the board. Learning environment was uninteresting and monotonous.
  • Transparencies

    Transparencies
On this stage of my life I began to study new learning methodologies which nowadays are obsoletes like transparencies, cassettes, VCRs, and so on, but at least I could realize that there are different ways for teaching-learning and as a future teacher I was worried if I had learnt enough for my future classes.
  • Anxiety of learning

    Anxiety of learning
I felt really interested to find new ways of teaching; hence I subscribed myself in many courses, seminars, workshops, readings, etc. On that process I remember I traveled alone to Tunja for an ASOCOPI congress. In that pursue, I found remarkable and significant learning methodologies: I had to put into practice first as a learner all what I had been discovering and I think I did great as a student (motivation was high).
  • Everything new for me

    Everything new for me
As a student I felt a wonderful and astonishing experience when I studied here at this university because most what I learnt as a learner I wanted the opportunity to apply it as a teacher where I worked, and also because I think the educational mediations are the most excellent in the Atlantic coast.
  • Cooperative learning

    Cooperative learning
In order my students learnt from different approaches, when I finished the postgraduate diploma I began to compiled all new teaching methods from my colleagues making a new one, without forgetting all those experiences that impacted on my learning and my personal development as a teacher too.
