I was born!
August 29, 1998 was the day I came into this world. I was born at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. My parents are Frances and Steve Matthews. I have an older brother named Stevie. -
~Starting Circus~
I began my all-time favorite sport in 2005 when I was 7 years old. "Circus" is a performing arts studio in Portsmouth. The real name is The Cirque D'Art Theatre. I have taken many/all classes there such as: tumbling, contortion, aerial arts, tap, ballet. jazz..etc. -

December of 2013 I became a dog mom to the two most precious pups. They are mixed breed, and super nice. They love to play and eat. -
Gymnastics Instructor
I began instructing students at the Cirque D'Art Theatre from ages 4+. I still am helping students set goals and try to accomplish what is needed. I love children and enjoy helping them strive to be the best they possibly can be. -
Talented and Gifted
I had the opportunity of receiving a letter from my school stating that I was in the talented and gifted program for dance. -
National Circus School
In the end of 2014 I tried out for the Summer Intensive Program at the National Circus School in Montreal, Canada along with many people from all around the world. Mid-February of 2015 I found out that I was accepted. I was there with about 50-60 people and it was an amazing experience. -
Graduation!!
May 22, 2016 was when I graduated from Portsmouth West High School! -
SSU Bear!
This was the day that I officially became a Shawnee State Bear! I started my journey to become an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher! -
AGT
I auditioned for AGT this year, but unfortunately I did not get a call back. It was an awesome experience and I am so thankful for this opportunity. I met some great and very talented people. I did an aerial horse routine to the song Dark Horse by Katy Perry. -
The Beginning of Phonics
By taking this class, I want to be able to understand how to teach my future students to read and be able to put letters and words with it's sounds and meanings. I want to be able to understand the different kinds of strategies to develop a students reading/writing skills.
