Peter was born to Alexis I of Russia and Nataliya Naryshkina. He was the 14th child out of Alexis' 16 children.

Peter and his brother Ivan V were crowned Tsar.

Peter begins is grand tour over Europe to gain alliences to defeat the Ottoman Empire.

The Northern war lasts twenty-one years and the Russians win. Not positive when it ends but it does start in Febuary of 1700.

Peter takes claim to land and builds the new city of St. Petersburg there. Not sure of exact date but was established or finished in May of 1703.

Peter's army defeats the Swedish army by purposely directing their troops to the city of Poltva. Not sure on exact date, but the army was defeated in 1709.

Peter moves the capitol of Russia from Moscow to St. Petersburg. Not sure on exact date, but it was moved in 1712.

Peter executs his eldest son Alexis due to being convicted of high treason. Alexis is executed secretly. Not sure of exact date, but this did occur in 1718.

Peter proclaims that Russia is an empire and then names himself the Emperor of all of Russia. Not sure of exact date, but this did happen in 1721.

Peter falls ill and has to have an emergency operation, but he never truly recovers. Not sure of exact date, but he did fall ill in 1723.

Peter dies after becoming so ill he begins to fall into a coma.
