I was born in St. Joseph Hospital a happy baby, weighing 7 pounds.

On this day my sister was born and it was the greatest thing that every happened. She is my best friend and i cant imagine life without her.

My baby brother taught me to be playful. By always keeping a smile on my face and always trying to be silly and play with me.

I learned how to be caring when I got my first dog. I learned how to care for others and tend to their needs as well as mine.

It was my first time going to Disney world and I was so excited, I was only 8 and I had never traveled anywhere out of chicago before.

I went on a trip to Arizona to meet my grandmas brother and his 6 sons. I didn't know i had other family and it was a lot of fun hanging out with them and trying new things. The scenery was also beautiful and it gave me a greater appreciation for things.

By trying out for a school play I learned to be confident in myself and my abilities no matter what others thought.

I was excited to be graduating but I was also really sad to be leaving all my friends.

This was my irst time going to the pride parade and it was the most fun ive had in a while. I loved seeing all the colorful people expressing and just being themselves.

I learned how to be content from my mother. She taught me that we don't need material things to be happy because we have more important things like family.

I started my first day of freshmen year and i was extremely nervous but it turned out ok.

By starting high school and being part of a new group of people I was able to become more open-minded. There were all kinds of different people from all over with different opinions an beliefs and by being exposed to that I was able to appreciate and respect the differing beliefs.

Freshmen year I had to take the bus home everyday because I had no one to pick me up. At first it was scary but it taught me independence and how to do things on my own and not be scared.

This was my first time ever driving and it was so exciting. I had been wanting to drive forever and my mom finally let me do it. That day I learned independence.

I finally got the braces I had been wanting for sooooooooo long and I still don't regret it. It also made me feel more confident.

I learned how to be authentic during my years of high school. People are constantly changing to be cool and fit in with others and i stayed true to myself no matter what.

Over the summer I got a job and it taught me communication skills because in order to do your job right you need to know how to properly communicate to co workers and your boss.

Iv'e lived in an apartment my whole life but over this summer I finally got a house.

This year I joined the IBCP Programme and it has taught me many traits. Like how to inquirer and ask more questions, I also learned how to be more organized and its really helped me improve my grades.

I helped my mom shovel snow which shows I'm helpful. Because instead of making her do it all alone I offered my help
