    Which they did with Palestine.
    They participated in Resolution 50 and 73 in 1948 and 1949.

    They were the first group of the united nations military observers. They were sent to supervise the ceasefire between Pakistan and India.
    The group has been restricted on Indias side since 1972,
    There is also lots of complaints from Pakistan.

    established to secure and supervise the cessation of hostilities, including the withdrawal of the armed forces of France, Israel and the United Kingdom from Egyptian territory and, after the withdrawal, to serve as a buffer between the Egyptian and Israeli forces.
    July 1956, Egypt nationalized the Suez Canal Company over the protest of France and the United Kingdom.
    On 29 October 1956, Israeli forces launched an attack on Egypt and occupied Sinai and the Gaza Strip.

    March 1974, the situation in the Israel-Syria sector became increasingly unstable, and firing intensified. The United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) was established on 31 May 1974.
    UNDOF has remained in the area to maintain the ceasefire between the Israeli and Syrian forces and to supervise the implementation of the disengagement agreement.
