Richard Arkwright came up with the invetion of the water frame in 1769. The invention produced a cotton yarn and it was a water powered operation. He invented this machine to make a lot of money by paying unskilled people to work because the machine did not take a skilled person to work it.

Charles Darwin was an explorer from the United Kingdom. He published a book called "On the origin of Species", this book was about his theory of survival of the fittest and natural selection. He came up with this theory by seeing all the different species on the Galapogos islands.
