The President John F. Kenedy was assassinated while riding in a motorcade in Dallas Texas. This is important because he was a president that lots of people liked and was only one of a few presidents to be assassinated. Also this was a tramatic event for many people, especially the people who were there witnissing it. -

This was a space mission to send people to the moon. This was the first time people had set foot on the moon. This is important because it was the first time humans had been to the moon and it marked a major advande in technology. -
