On his 16th birthday, Neil armstrong earned his pilot's lisence from all the money he saved up from work to attend the lessons. He got his pilots lisence even before he got his drivers lisence. -
Attended Purdue University
Neil Armstrong earned a scholarship in the mail. The scholarship could be used at the school of his choice and he chose Purdue university because it was rich in aeronautical engineering. -
Called up For Navy
After three semesters in Purdue University, the navy called him for th Korean War. He got hit and had to bail after driving out of enemy territory. He returned to Prudue University to finish his fourth semester in 1952. -
Got Married
At Purdue University, Neil Armstrong had a job as a newspaper deliverer. He always saw Janet Shearon jogging and they became friends. -

The Apollo 11 was launched from Kennendy Space Center in Merrit Island, Florida. More than 1 million spectators were in the area in Motels or tents. 6 thousand NASA workers were invited and among them was Neil Armstrong's wife. -

The three men splashed down in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. They were quarantined for 18 days because they had to take percautions with moon germs.
