    How & when we arrived in Austalia
    Ellen ( My mother) and her 6 brothers and sisters arrive in Australia from the beutifu country town of Antrim, Ireland. Ellens father Joaes Quinn was a free settler rented land for dairyinin Bruswick upon their arrival.
  • Around the years i was born

    Hi my name is Edward Kelly, I was born in Beveridge, Victoria in the year of 1854. My parents John red Kelly and Ellen Kelly, I am the eldest od eight children. My family is a proud Irish family, we moved from Ireland to Austrlia in 1841. In the early 1850's we moved and settled in Wallan near Milli Creek.

    In 1862 , I started school in the small town school called " Roman Catholic Church" The two teachers that taught me also taught my younger sister's Annie age 9 and Maggie age 6. After only 6 months of me going to school i had learnt to read and write at a grade two standard.

    In 1869, I started to commit crimes,. The first crime was assaulting a chinese pig farmer , and i would end up spending 10 days in police custody.

    In the October of 1870, I was arrested again for assult, and in 1871 I also had been arrested again for riding a stolen horse and fighting with the police, and I was sentenced to 3 years jail.

    In the october of 1878, me and my gang killed three police officers from a group who was sent to find us at the stringy bark creek.

    In the February of 1879 me and my gang dresse up as cos and wnet and held up a bank in Jerilderie.

    In the june of 1880, A shootuot between my gang and the police at the Glenrowan Inn, results in 3 of my gang members being killed.
  • Sentecing

    In October 1880, Ned Kelly was Sentenced to his death.
  • When kelly was hung

    The 11th of November 1880 was when Ned Kelly was hung, There was two melbourne newspapers that reported that Ned Kelly's last words were " Such is Life"
  • Remains of Ned Kelly

    In November 2009, A skull beleived to be Ned Kelly's was was given to the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicicne for identification. The efforts to identify Ned Kelly's remains and the other prisinors from the Pentridge Prison commenced.
  • DNA Results

    Onthe 1st of September 2011, theVictorian Government announed that Ned Kelly;s remains had been found at the Pentridge Prison and that DNA analysis had provent that it was definitely Ned Kelly's remains.
