    When WWI ended, Adolf Hitler was in the hospital.

  • Treaty of Versailles signed

  • Adolf Hitler became leader of the NSDP

    and took the title der Führer

  • Hitler and the NSDP attempt to overthrow the Bavarian government

    failed. The leaders were arrested and charged with treason.

  • Hitler’s was sent to Prison

    Hitler was sentenced to 5 years but only served for 10 months.
    During this time, Hitler wrote his famous book, Mein Kamft, meaning my struggle.

  • The Nazi Party became the largest party in Germany

    They gained 37.4% of all votes.

  • Hitler became the Nazi Party Chancellor

    This was appointed by Germany President Hindenburg

    a fire broke out at the Reichstag building and was blamed on the Communist Party, KPD. The party was banned and since they were the second largest party, the government was clear for the Nazi's

    After the ban of the communist party, another vote was organized and the Nazi party gained 44% of the votes.
