    Christopher ColumbusDiscovers America, 1492On August 3, Columbus lead three ships. His goal was to get to Asia because of the riches that were there. The crew he had didn't expect for the trip to last that long and they began to lose hope. He told them that they would soon return home if they didn't get to land. Soon after America was discovered.

    NATIVE AMERICAN LEGENDSIn 1519 Hernan invades Mexico and his goals were to take over the Aztecs. Once he took over Aztecs he made the colonies of Spain.

    NORTH AMERICAN INDIAN TIMELINE (1492-1999)Bartolome de La Clasa is the first priest in the Western Hemiphere. He published a book that helped people realize how the Indians are treated.
  • Founding of Jamestown

    NORTH AMERICAN INDIAN TIMELINE (1492-1999)Jamestown was found in Virginia on May 14, 1607. It was discovered by the colonist of the London Company. Thd disease was a big effect and lowered the amount of sellters from 150 to 32. There leader was John Smith who was captured and also saved by the capture's daughter.

    NATIVE AMERICAN LEGENDSNative American Timeline of EventsTobacco planters asked thier leader who goes by Nathaniel Bacon if they could attack the Susquehannock Indians which was dinied. Then later the colonist burn down Jamestown and killed many Indians.

    NORTH AMERICAN INDIAN TIMELINE (1492-1999)The war lasted from 1754 to 1763. It was in the Connecticut River valley, in Massachusetts, in the Plymouth, and Rhode Island colonies. The war killed 600 English and 3,000 Native Americans which involed women and children in each.

    NORTH AMERICAN INDIAN TIMELINE The Proclamation of 1763 was signed by King George III. It required all the English to return to the east so there won't be a problem with the Native Americans.
  • Treaty of Paris

    The Treaty of Paris ended the American Revolution and was signed by the repersenatives of Great Britain and the United States. In the treaty it states who owns what land and or states.
  • Treaty of Greenville

    Native American TimelineThis treaty was the mark of the undeclared and multi-tribal war. This war had begun in the late 1770's.
  • Louisana Purchase

    On April 30, 1803 Louisana was added to the United States French territory from the Gulf of Mexico to the Northwest.
  • Lewis and Clark Epedition

    North American Indian Timeline Lewis and Clark traveled the western territory with Sacagawea under the intructions fo the President Jefferson.
  • Tecumseh and The Prophet

    North American Indian TimelineTecumseh is the chief of the Shawnee. Him and his brothers form a group called The Prophet. They found Prophetstown to use as settlement for the indians who didn't agree well with the goverment.
  • Creek War

    North American Indian TimelineThe Creek Nation was beat and lost 14 million acres which was more than half of their land. They piled up 557 of the dead Creek noses to count the men lost.
  • Indian Removal Act

    Native American TimelineOn April 7, President Andrew Jackson submitted a bill to Congress to remove Indians. For ten whole years thousands of Indians were removed from the tribes in the east to the west of the Mississippi.
  • Worcester v. Georgia

    Native American TimelineThe indians pretty much sued Georgia because they arrested him. The indians said that they how no power, so they made a law stating the indaisn were under goverment law.
  • Trail of Tears

    Native American Timeline Despite the the law that the indians could stay on their they were moved by the predient by force. The president's troops moved about 16,000 Cherokee who had refused to move. The rest began a hike to 80 miles by force to Oklahoma and 4,000 died during that trip.
  • Oregon Trail

    Native American TimelineOn July 3, 1847 westward migration begins along the Oregon Trail through Plains Indian country.
  • Gold Discoverd in California

    Native American TimelineOn January 24, 1849 James Marshall discovers gold. Whih one people found out started the gold rush in California.
  • Passage of the Homestead Act

    Native American TimelineThe Passage of the Homestead Act made the western land the non-indians settlement even though at the time the indians were settled there.
  • Sand Creek Massacre

    Native American Timeline 750 Colorado soilders attacked a Cheyenne and Arapaho village at Arapaho. The soilders tutored the dead bodies in many wasy such as cutting parts off and wearing them or using them for things.
  • Diminished Buffalo Herds

    Native American TimelineOn January 20, Buffalo Soldiers attacked Mescalero Apaches killing ten of them and taking 25 ponies.
  • Gold in the Black Hills, and the Ft. Laramie Treaty

    Native American TimelineGeorge Armstrong Custer told the people that the gold was discovered. Federal authorities worked instead to protect the miners from trespassers.
  • Battle of Little Big Horn

    Native American TimelineNot caring that the Sioux army was huge George Armstrong Custer and 210 men of his mean attacked them and were all killed.
  • Nez Perce War

    Native American TimelineThe US army responed to some Americans dead which caused the Nez Perce to try to escape 1,500 miles in a group of 800 until they were caught 30 miles south of the Canadian border.
