    Eratosthenes accurately calculated the tilt of the Earth's axis using trigonometry and geometry.

    Eratosthenes made a map of the known world and made a system of longitude and latitude.

    The circumference of the Earth

    Eratosthenes used the position of the sun as well as the distance from Alexandria to Syene to calculate the circumference of the Earth. Some believe that his calculations only had a 2% error.

  • I move to America

    This is when i flew from India to America
  • I move from St. Louis to Seattle

    This was my first move through America, and it changed everything. I went from slightly cold days and snow to freezing all-year round.
  • I drove from Seattle to Phoenix

    This was another large move, and also the final move for me during my childhood.

    During this time period, we lived in a small apartment, where i met my some of my best friends.

    The move from the apartment to the house caused me to change schools, a big change because it was my first year of middle school

    This was a big change for me, because I decided my self to go somewhere else for high school instead of the charter school I was in before.
  • Started playing Tennis

    My move to MRHS was largely due to wanting to be more involved with sports. This is when I picked up tennis. Later on, tennis became a big part of my life.
  • In the summer of 2017, I flew back to India to visit family

    This visit made me a lot wiser, as I saw how much better it was to live in America, and how it would have been a lot tougher in India. It helped me realize that I needed to work hard and improve myself.
  • I started taking Online Classes

    In order to improve my grade and make sure that I made it to college, I decided to take online classes.
  • The Origin of Continents and Oceans

    Wegener found more evidence that the continents were all joined together in the past and used it to publish his book. However, scientists thought that he was incorrect.
