    We moved to Virginia because my Dad was transferred there for work. We were only about 30 minutes from Washington, DC.

    We moved back to Indiana just north of Indianapolis in Noblesville, IN. The mascot for my high school was the Millers.
  • Went to college at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana.

    The Purdue Boilermaker mascot was not much better than the Noblesville Miller.

    The IU mascot is a Hoosier. Not many people know what that is, hence making it just as lame as my previous schools.

    I finished student teaching in Indiana and moved to Tempe, AZ and got my first teaching job at a K-6 school teaching health and art. It was fun.
