American Airlines Flight 11
American Airlines Flight 11 left Newark, New Jersey at 7:59 am eastern time en route to Los Angeles, California. It had 11 crew members and 81 passengers. Around 15 minutes into the flight it was hijacked by 5 Al-Qaeda terrorists. It turned abruptly and started going back over the Hudson River. Flight 11 crashed into the Northeast Tower at the World Trade Center at 8:47 am eastern time. It collapsed 1 hour and 42 minutes later. -
