My Life

  • Born

This is the beginning of my timeline
  • Attacked by a dog

I was attacked by a dog at a party when I was about 3 years old. The dog bit my cheek at a party, resulting in me going to the hospital.
  • First day of school

I started school at Jordan Bank Elementary in Oxford, Pennsylvania. It was a new experience, and at 5 years old I was very nervous.
  • Barack Obama elected POTUS

Barack Obama was elected the first African American President of the United States on November 4, 2008. He served two terms, defeating Sen. John McCain in 2008 and Gov. Mitt Romney in 2012.
  • Moved to Colorado

I moved to Colorado around this time where my dad worked at Colorado State University in the Equine Sciences department for a year, then came back to Pennsylvania.
  • Started school in Delaware

Although I lived in Pennsylvania, my parents did not like the public school system. They sent my brother and I to a private school in Delaware called The Independence School. There is no high school, so we went to AGCS and really enjoy it here.
  • Designing

Around this time, I began learning how to design things digitally. I always loved moving furniture around in my house and designing layouts, however after getting a computer of my own, I started designing video games online. This changed the path of my life in a positive way and I want to study Computer Science in college.
  • Went to Florida

I visited family in Fort Lauderdale, Florida during spring break. I went to the beach and had a really good time exploring the Miami area. There is also lot of culture, and I loved learning about it and that is one advantage a city has over the country.
  • First day of Middle School

Just like the first day of Elementary School, this was very scary to me. It's not just a first day, it's a whole new level and experience. It ended up not being that bad, however the expectations were much higher.
  • Rescued a dog

My family rescued a dog from Alabama named Ernest. He traveled up the coast through foster families, ending in Virginia where we picked him up. It's important to me to rescue animals rather then buy from a store, so it was a happy moment and it's great knowing my dog now has a home because of my family.
  • Went to Atlanta

I traveled to Atlanta, Georgia to attend a convention relating to game development and also marketing and advertising. It took place at the Atlanta Tech Village.
  • Went to Washington, D.C.

I traveled to Washington, D.C. to attend the National STEM Festival to learn more about the importance of STEM in school and incorporating it into class to better prepare the next generation for the continuously growing digital world. I also volunteered and taught younger children about designing and educated parents about the pros and cons of video games.
  • Started school at AGCS

I started school at Avon Grove Charter School after graduating 8th grade at The Independence School. I was nervous, but I ended up meeting really great friends who helped me learn about the school.
