Moved in with a foster family, which would eventually become my new family.

Joined a Daisy Girl Scout troop. The following year I joined a different troop as a Brownie, which I stayed with until my 10th grade year in high school.

Adopted by my mother, Peggy, the best mom in the world. Every year we celebrate our anniversary as mother and daughter.

Moved in with my grandma in West Virginia to help her out. Finished high school there.
