Liam Payne Auditions for the X Factor
In 2008 Liam Payne auditioned for the X Factor for the first time. For his audition he sand "Fly Me To The Moon" by Bart Howard. He got as far as the judges house. There he was dismissed because Simon Cowell thought he was too young, and told him to come back in 2 years. -
Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Harry Styles audition for the X Factor
Louis, Zayn, Liam, Niall and Harry all auditioned separetly. They all got through. But at bootcamp things went wrong. None of them moved on. But before the lads left the judges called them back and told them they could stay but, as a group. They only had about a week to get to know eachother before their first performance before the judges. Pressure!! And so, One Direction was born!!! -
The lads final X Factor performance
One Direction performed for the last time in the top three on the X Factor. They sang Viva La Vida by Coldplay. As that night came to a close, the judges decided on the winner. Not One Direction. They places 3rd but are still the biggest boy band in the world. -
One Direction was on Saturday Night Live
On April 7th 2011 Sofia vergara was hosting the wildly popular late night show Saturday Night Live. The music guest was One Direction. They performend a song and they were in the Manuel Oritz Show skit. -
Their first song was released
On September 11th 2011, One Direction's first song was released. What Makes You Beautiful. Maybe you've heard of it? Of course you have. You don't know your beautiful!!! -
Their first album
One Direction's first album came out. It is called Up All Night. (A VERY good album I might add) In Ireland it's roumered that the album sold out in 10 seconds. They became the first boyband to sell 500,000 digital copies of an album. -
One Direction's first tour
They had their first tour (Up All Night) in 2011. It toured around the UK and Ireland. It had to be expanded to North America and Oceania. -
One Direction's first movie
During their Up All Night tour, they filmed a Up All Night tour movie. -
I caught the infection
I caught the One Direction Infection. After a firend told me to check out their video diaries, I fell in love with the boy band. -
Their new movie
On the 18th of March, One Direction told their fans the name of their new movie "This is Us". It comes out later this year.
