  • Golden Delight

    Golden Delight
audioThe summer before my freshman year in college I auditioned for and made the auxiliary squad for A&T's marching band known as Golden Delight. This was one of the most challenging experiences, physically and mentally, I have ever endured but also one of the most rewarding. I've learned much about how to be a lady, being humble, and accepting responsibilities as a woman from this squad. I marched two years and been awarded most spirited and best twirler while on the squad.
  • My True Love

    My True Love
audioIn band camp of my freshman year I met the man of my dreams, Darius Adams. Though it may sound silly, it was love at first sight. Over the years we have grown to be more than just lovers, but best friends. I thank God everyday that he blessed me with an angel to who would heal me, love me, and take care of me. I never thought in a million years I would find somebody as smart, silly, talented and ambitous as me. I can honestly say that this is the man I plan to spend the rest of my life with.
  • My First Apartment

    My First Apartment
audioAs a Christmas present to each other, Darius and I rented our first apartment together. We both were tired of staying at home and were going to get our own places, but decided that it would be smarter to move in together and split all the bills. Needless to say, this was the best decision I've ever made. There is nothing like having your own place.
