Muhammad was born in 570 A.D in Mecca, which is in Saudi Arabia. He was the only son born to his parents, Abdullah and Aminah.

Muhammud recieved his first revelation of Allah from the angel Gabriel. This revelation scared him so much that he first thought that he was going crazy, then that he was hallucinating, and then that this revelation was from a demon.

Muhammad continuted to recieve revelations from Allah. He eventually began sharing Allah's words with the rest of his tribe. He gained followers and they were heavily persecuted by other tribes.

After the Quraysh tribe, which controlled Mecca, failed to keep Muhammad from spreading Islam, they banished the Muslims from Mecca. They took refuge in Madinah.

Muhammad was flown on the back of some mysterious beast to Jerusalem and then to Heaven. During this journey, Allah instructed all Muslims to pray five times a day.

In January of 630 A.D, the Muslims, led by Muhammad, took over Mecca. Muhammad then proceeded to rid Mecca of all idols.

On June 8, 632, Muhammad died as a result of sickness. He was succeeded by Abu Bakr as the leader of the Muslim people.

Muhammud married the woman whom he traded goods for. They were married in aproximately 595. Her name was Khadija. They has 6 children together, two boys and four girls. Neither of the boys lived past infancy.
