Cassius Marcellus Clay, Jr. was born in Louisville, Kentucky.

As a twelve year old, Cassius had gotten his red and white Schwinn bike stolen. Seeking police, he meets Joe Martin, an officer who also coaches boxers. Not long after, Clay would be training to fight for the reason of being able to beat up the person that stole his bike.
