Born and Living in Washington DC
I was born on October 3rd in 2007. I did not go to preschool but I had a Mexican nanny who taught me spanish. -
Moved to Bogota, Colombia
Because of my mom's work at the US embassy, we moved to Bogota, Colombia in South America. I learned Spanish fluently and I was only in Kindergarten. -
Moved back to dc
I moved back to Washington DC and I started speaking less and less Spanish. I lived here for 3 years and I took dance lessons and continued playing the piano. -
Moved to Ankara, Turkey
I began 4th grade in Ankara, Turkey. I went to a Turkish speaking school and I was the only American in the Elementary School. I learned to speak Turkish pretty well and moved schools to an American International School. The kids in my class were from all over the world and my best friends were from Malaysia, Azerbaijan, and Algeria. -
Moved back to DC
During the summer of 2020, I moved back to DC when we began authorized departure from Turkey. During the summer, I was with my cousins all the time so I wasn't too lonely. Then I started school at SWW without knowing anybody.
