    a Document signed in Paris that ended the Peacetime Military alliance with the U.S. signed to Napeleon could focus on conquering Europe and create new empire in Louisiana. Ended the quasi-war
  • louisianna purchase

    When the U.S gained the louisiana territory from France for 15 millions $. the purchase secured Americas control of the mississippi river and doubled the size.
  • Embargo Act

    a law that forbid the exportation of U.S goods. After the Frech and British were being hostile towards the U.S pres Jefferson thought they would calm down if we stopped trade with both of them, but in effect ths only hurt our economy.

    A war that was started By American outrage caused by the British impressment of American soilders and the taking of American ships. led to many seafront battles, the american seizure of Florida and the burning of Washington D.C.

    ended the war of 1812 and gave the orignial owners back the land being fought for during the war. Also set up a comission that would decide the boarders between canada and the U.S

    A doctrine that stated that Europe shouldn't meddle in United states affairs or affairs in the Western Hemisphere
