he lead the long expedition. he was born in culpeper county, virginia. he was inprisioned the war of april 8, 1822 he was shot by a guard. the guard was hired. he also was talked in to a philibuster to conqure texas 1819. mexican rebellion. -
Merger of Coahulia y Texas
Superceded the imperial colinizational law. Determinded how Texas would be peopled. It stipulated that those wishing colonization contracts should make arrangements with legislators. (Mexican Government) -

Augustus magee was an army officer. him and others were making plans to invade texas. he resigned in june 18, 1832. he became ill and died.he remained in command until his death.
