The general sam huston, the texas army engaged and defeted general santa anna and his army.
His mexican army were in a fight that only lasted 18 minutes.
About 630 mexicans were killed and 730 were kaptured, that following day santa anna was kaptured and kept as prisoner of war, 3 weeks later he signed a tretie that freed the texans.
