I studied Religion (History) at GW for four years. My mentor, Professor Wallace, taught me how to research and write about the history of Religion compitently. He also taught me to love investigating the changes in human thought over time.

I worked in the Office of Senator Corzine of NJ first as an intern, then as an aide, and finally as a writer. I learned that I love public service, but that I wanted something more personally fulfilling than government work.

I worked for TWS Inc. for many years, first as a salesman and later as the General Manager. During this time I helped to create an adult education program in conjunction with the Washington Wine Academy and taught many classes.

I am an Elder in the Presbyterian Church, as such I volunteered to run a tutoring program for under-privledged children in DC. This is when I finally figured out that teaching was what I would like to do with my life.

I left DC wanting to move closer to my family and begin a masters program in education. A few months later, I began at Rivier College.
