  • Factoring

When you factor the equation it helps you figure out where the rocket for example takes off and where it lands. This is important because it can help you figure out the hight and where the rocket was at what time. To dertimine the outcome of the rocket you can take the middle and figure out where the top height of the rocket was and when it got to the top height.

  • Quadratic formula

The quadratic formula is -B+or- the quare root of B^2 -4 (a)(b) all divided by 2a. This has a advantage over factoring because you can do numbers that dont nessicarialy have a good sum like 9 which would be 3. For this example lets say A=1 B=2 C=3 You would plug those numbers into the equation and it should lead you to a accurate answer.
  • projectile formulas

I will be doing 50 ,20 and 30 for my projectile formulas i will be using the quadratic formula. I think that 50 will be in the air longest because it is launching from the highest point. There for it will stay in the air the longest. i think that 30 will travel the farthest because it has the mix of height and it will not be too close to the ground making it go higher and farther.
  • Angle distance

The lower the angle that you use will make the projectile go farther. That is if the angle isnt too low that it cant get any air under it so it will hit the ground right away. So you want a good mix between the angle of lanuch and velocity to get your projectile to go farther.
