  • IRB Approved

    After submission of Masters Proposal, the IRB will approve proposal and grant continuation of project.

    Refine any edits needed in proposal. Craft surveys for use during Fall. Conduct more research to build stronger Literature Review.Make any modifications recommended by IRB board and/or advisor for Chapters 1-3

    Peer Review Selection

    Find three-five candidates to act as reviewers of surveys to assure researcher bias is not present in research findings

    Final Survey Review

    With the assistance of assigned adviser, complete final stages of surveys and conduct a test run with multiple subjects.

    Phase 1a: Teacher Survey

    By working with administration at two local schools, send survey to contacts and provide a week for scheduled feedback from teachers.

    Phase 1b: Student Survey

    By working with administration at two local schools, send survey to contacts and provide a week for scheduled feedback from students.

    Review and Analyze Qualitative Data

    Take the data provided by the qualitative surveys and conduct necessary tests to assure validity. Create charts and graphs for Chapter Four.

    Phase 2: School Observation/Interview

    Sometime during the month of October, schedule at least one day at each site to conduct interviews of teachers and students as well as observations of classrooms.

    Write Chapter 4

    Using the information found in the qualitative and quantitative surveys, observations and interviews, begin writing Chapter Four.

    Phase 3: Final Surveys

    Conduct final surveys of teachers and students.

    Finish Chapter Four

    Working with my assigned adviser, complete the work on Chapter Four with the data provided from exit surveys.

    Finish Chapter Five

    Finish the final chapter of Thesis.
  • Submit Thesis for Final Approval

    Final submission of my Master Thesis submitted to Fresno Pacific University.
