St. Marks Church forms a team that would later evolve into MCFC. This had a huge impact because if this event hadn't happened, Manchester City would not be around today.

Team moves city; Changes name

Ardwick AFC reforms in the city of Manchester to become MCFC. This impacts the club because had they not moved cities, there would be no Mancester City FC, there would still be Ardwick AFC.

First FA Cup Championship

Manchester City FC wins the FA Cup final over Bolton Wanderers, bringing the first major trophy to the city of Manchester. This had a major impact, because this solidified MCFC as a legitimate team and also put them ahead of crosstown rival, Manchester United.

League play suspended 1914-1918

Manchester City wins subsidiary tournaments in the Lancashire division while play is being suspended due to the first World War. This had an impact, because MCFC piled up trophiesd in these 4 years, because they were playing in a "lower" division.

MCFC Wins First League Championship

Manchester City wins their first league title in first teir English Football. This had an impact because it put Manchester City on the map and helped them compete with Manchester United for supporters.

MCFC Wins "The Double"

MCFC wins the European Cup Winners Cup and the League Cup to make them the first team in history to win these two titles in the same season. This continued to impact the number of supporters the team gained and helped them win more trophies that Manchester United.

Premier League is formed

MCFC plays in the first ever Premier league game against Queens Park Rangers and wins 2-0. This impacted the team and continued to help them gain fans and money. After this season, MCFC would not play in the Premier League again unitl 2000.

MCFC Returns to Premiership

At the end of the 1999 season, a 4-1 victory seals MCFC's return to the top teir of football in England. Manchester City has not looked back since, and has remained in the Premier League until today.

Abu Dhabi owners buy MCFC

Rich owners buy MCFC, allowing the manager and others who handle transfers more money to buy better players for the team. This impacted the club because they were able to buy more talented players to help them compete in the Premier League

MCFC wins first league title in 44 years

Manchester City scores in the fnial minutes against QPR to overtake Manchester United and win the Premier League title. This made Manchester City a threat in all European football competitions and helped them continue their dominance of Manchester United.
