This protest made thousands of kids stay home from school. This "stick out" was a protest led by teachers in Detroit. These teachers were fed up with the amount of kids they had to teach in a classroom. One reported of having over 45 students in a classroom

A 19-year old was accused of killing 17 people at his old high school. He did admit to killing students and teachers that day.

Los Angeles teachers go on strike for the overload of students. These teachers only wanted the state to hire more teachers to even out the workload. Students were still expected to go to school while the teachers were on strike.
