My parents had a hard time understanding me. They decided to talk to my grandmother about it because she was a teacher and she recommended for them to put me into speech therapy. -

I broke my right thumb which meant I was unable to write with my dominant hand. I had just began learning how to write. -
This was a huge deal for me because I had been in speech therapy since before I started kindergarten. -
This was important because I always had difficulty with public speaking due to being in speech therapy and feeling judged for saying words wrong sometimes. But I was able to get up in front of everyone and give a speech. -

My work load increased and I began reading and writing more. -
The quality of work that I produced had to be better quality and took longer to do. As well as learning more in depth about topics. -
