Growing Up
In the elementary school I was very shy and not very athletic so p.e was definitely not my cup of tea. One of the games we played was kickball which was everyone's favorite. I didn't like to play this game because I wasn't good at all and everyone would make fun of me. When I'd get upset they would call me a baby and the teacher didn't do much to help. From this experience I have become very introverted and I definitely don't like kickball. -
Joining dance
When I was in fifth grade I was in dance at my school. It was the first hobby that ever did. I enjoyed dance because I had friends and it was fun to dance with them. What I didn't enjoy was our teacher because I thought she was mean. I quit dance because I couldn't take the teachers constructive criticism. Now, I wish I hadn't quit because I could've became a great dancer. -
Becoming A Big Sister
My sister being born was significant to my life because I was now a big sister. I was an only child for 10 years so this was a big change for me. Being a big sister taught me responsibility, to be selfless, and to be patient. -
Dad coming back into my life.
I wouldn't say that my dad was completely out of my life growing up but he wasn't around as someone normally would be. My dad didn't live with us until I was 10 or 11.When he did start living with it was a little hard to adjust because I wasn't used to having him around all the time. There were times where I would get annoyed but now I'm glad that he did come back. -
First relationship
The beginning and end of my first relationship affected me in so many ways. My first relationship lasted for 3 years. It started when I was only a freshman in high school. When our relationship ended I learned that being in a relationship at young age is not a good idea. I'm no longer sad about it because I have all this time to learn about myself. -
New school
For two years I went to a really small school as a eighth grader and a freshman. I didn't like the way they taught because I didn't feel like I was learning. Everyone in the classroom were basically friends so I was distracted a lot. I decided to finish the rest of high school at a public school. I think that it was the best decision for me. I met new friends and felt like I was actually learning. -
New dog
When I got my dog Diamond I was so excited and happy. From the start I knew there would be a lot of learning for me. Diamond wasn't my first dog ever but she was the first dog I had at an older age. The two years that I've had her I've learned a great deal of responsibility. Caring for her over time has made me want to pursue a career working with animals. -
Mom having surgery
The time my mom had to have surgery made me appreciate my mom so much more. When she was in the and I was at home I experienced what it was like to not have her around. I realized everything that she does for our family and I would be so lost without her. -
Quitting school
When I quit going to school it made me realize how important finishing school was. During the my time off I was doing absolutely nothing and I didn't want to keep doing that for the rest of my life. I also got closer to figuring out what I wanted to do with my life after I graduate. -
Primavera
I decided to come to Primavera so that I could get a diploma. I struggled a lot at my old school and I didn't graduate when I was suppose to. I knew that I really wanted to graduate so that I can move on to the next chapter in my life. Coming to Primavera was the smartest decision that I've made in a long time.
