Discuss as a class what types of natural features are near their home. What kinds of surroundings did they see on the way to school?

Discuss any questions students have about what they just learned.

Students will split into groups to fill in their word webs (graphic organizer) with types of surrounds/natural features.

Students will view an example of a word cloud created by the teacher.

Students will use the vocab from their word webs (graphic organizers) to create their own word clouds.
