The first settlers arrived between 1603 and 1607 in the east coast.The first people has arrived were english. They fleed England for the religious freedom and the political oppression. That people are call pilgrims and they arrived in differents regions (13). they came in New England ( Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut and Rhode Island) / Middle ( New Jersey, Delaware, New York, Pennsylvania)/ and in Southern ( Virginia, Maryland, Georgia, South and North Carolina)

This conflict opposed the 13 colonies and the United Kingdom. After the victory of UK in 1763 against France, the brirtish government introduced taxes in business.In overseas sparked a movement of rebellion. In 1776, the 13 colonies proclaimed their indepedence. Then, a war fot the independance began and in 1783 the 13 colonies became the United States of America. Today the americans celebrate the independance day of USA every 4 July.

The western expansion is call too «Manifest Destiny ». It was concept thinked by settlers. For them it is build nation based on equality and freedom, where citizens control the government and are free to make the best of life. « It could be a giant land of freedom and equality ». In 1803 president Jefferson bought to France Louisiana for 15 millions $. But settlers used too violences for take territories. This is the case for the Texas in 1845, a mexican territori befor the annexation.

This war opposated the Usa diriged by Abraham Lincoln and the Confederation ( a gathering of 11 states) diriged by Jefferson Davis. This war were hired because the 2 parties were not agree about abolition of slavery. The south was against abollition at contrary of the USA.
