    Kenneth was a known philosopher and was known for being one of the earliest known to practice cognitive science. He published " the nature of explanation", in his book he explained the concepts of mental models. The mental model's purpose was to highlight how someone thinks and their train of thought. This was important because it started the study of the mind and its processes. He began his studies at the University of Edinburgh and continued at Cambridge University.
