Karl Popper is regarded as one of the best philosophers of the 20th century and a self-professed rationalist. He was alive during the time of Albert Einstein and Sigmund Freud. His theory of falsifiability developed from his Ph.D. in music history. He tried distinguishing the relationship of objectivity and subjectivity in music through how historians critically thought when recording music theory and development.

Karl Popper during 1919- 1920 had his best time as an intellectual; he became heavily involved in politics; he also discovered the psychoanalytic theories of Freud and Adler and listened to a lecture that Einstein gave in Vienna on the relativity theory. Which then grounded his theory of falsifiability. Einstein actively tested his theories in order to disprove them, while Freud tested his theory only to prove it.

Karl Popper argued scientific psychology, which was based ultimately upon the transformation of psychology into a science of brain processes, and said it was a misconceived notion. He philosophically moved his focus to the scientific method. 1946-1949 he became a professor of logic and the scientific method, and his reputation as a scientist grew. Especially when he published The Logic of Scientific Discovery (1959)
