    How it affected Georgia?:This college was made to be cheeper for lower class whites, so even if you were rich or poor you could still get an educatioin.

    How it affected Georgia?: Georgians had places to move to.
  • Cotton Gin

    Description:A machine that could pick seeds out of cotton for slaves.
    How this affected Georgia?:Gained many slaves in Gerogia because the slaves needed to move the cotton gin.

    Description:Whites tricked land owners to buy their land for low prices and then resell that land for outrageous prices.
    How this affected Georgia?: People who lived on the land had to rebuy their homes for large prices and if they could'nt they were kicked off.
